The shipping agency Navetur saw the light of day.The tourist agency Equatours was fused with Navetur, creating the dynamic connection between maritime transportation and tourism.
Navetur-Equatour included tours and trekking in the offer of services. As a natural consequence of the trekking, rural tourism was also made available.
We focused on training staff, discovering new trails, building and rehabilitating bridges in the natural park.
We worked hard to meet the request for our eco-packages, while admitting more staff and buying more vehicles.
We were involved, on various levels, in defining a model of tourism for Sao Tome and Principe, i.e. through our work in the National Council of Tourism.
