Fridays Boracay

The first two cottages of Fridays Boracay were built in 1982.  The name Friday comes from the story of Robinson Crusoe who was shipwrecked on a lost island.  He was surprised to meet a native young man whom he named Friday.

The young man became his constant companion and assistant. Friday’s Boracay is a Department of Tourism AAA accredited self-contained 48-room resort with a freshwater swimming pool, beach front bar and a 120-seat capacity restaurant considered by many to be the finest in the island.

The resort rests at the northern end of Boracay Island, the finest part of the four-kilometer powdery white-sand beach which makes the island famous.  Boracay Island is located at the northern tip of Panay Island, Aklan Province, in the Visayan region of the Philippines, approximately 300 km. south of Manila.
