Cyclist from Kyrgyzstan Memet Tashtanov arrived in Samarkand on June 4. He is traveling across Uzbekistan by bike.
The man was greeted by the officials of the Tourism Department of Samarkand region, the State Tourism Department of Uzbekistan said.

The Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan paid accommodation of the visitor at a hotel and repaired his bike.
The man started his travel in Bishkek and passed 944 km to reach Samarkand. The next day he continued his travel across Uzbekistan.
