sabudana halwa

 ingredients:

 
sabudana 1 cup
water 2 cups
sugar 1.5 cups
cashew and raisins 8-10
turmeric a pinch
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Unsweetened khova 2 tb sp
ghee 3 tb sp
Method:
 
fry cashews and raisins in ghee and keep aside. in a cooker add a tsp ghee and fry sabudana for a few minutes . Add water and pressure cook for two whistles . Once the pressure comes down transfer cooked sabudana to a kadai and switch on the stove .  Add sugar, food color or a pinch of turmeric. Keep stirring. After some time add ghee and stir again. When it starts leaving bottom add unsweetened khova , cardamom powder and finally cashew and raisins. Here I used instant jamun mix instead of khova . It works good too. Finally when the mixture leaves bottom switch off the flame and transfer to a serving bowl .
 
Note : 1.after adding sugar do not cook for long time as sabudana may get chewy .
