For most fresh graduates, travelling is the ideal way to blow off steam and reflect on future career options after the hard work of finishing university.

Money can often be an obstacle to fulfilling travel dreams, but UK price comparison website Compare the Market could solve that riddle for one lucky graduate.

The company is seeking a final year UK university student to travel around the world, all expenses paid, as a "travel adviser" blogging on their experience.

The successful applicant will journey to at least eight countries and receive a generous expenses package, including a round the world plane ticket, accommodation, excursions, adventure activities, and insurance.

The graduate will also be equipped with state-of-the-art camera equipment to show off the sites and sounds in all of their glory, according to the Compare the Market.

The company expects the successful candidate to take 10 photos a month of the top locations and activities, as well as capture one video of the best destination visited. They will also be expected to produce a monthly blog post about the travels, offering tips and recommendations.

The proposed trip is expected to begin in the autumn of this year. The winning candidate will also get to help decide the length of the trip, as well as pick specific destinations.

To apply, students just need to submit a 200-word personal statement by midnight on 30 April 2017 here on why you are the best person for the job. A team of Compare the Market travel experts will shortlist five candidates, who will, in turn, need to submit a short YouTube video proving outlining their application.

A final decision on the winner will be made by May 2017 and the applicant with the highest number of votes from the public will be packing their bags for the trip of a lifetime.
