easyJet has today announced it will launch a new route to Dubrovnik from London Luton Airport.

On sale today it will operate twice a week throughout the summer with the first flights commencing on May 24th, 2016.

The route is expected to be popular amongst leisure passengers searching for summer sun and easyJet is expected to fly 21,000 passengers annually between Luton and Dubrovnik - commonly known as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ owing to its beautiful coastline and rich cultural heritage.

easyJet now has 52 destinations on sale from London Luton Airport for next summer and bases 19 aircraft at the airport.

Neil Slaven, commercial manager at easyJet, said: We’re pleased to be adding another destination to our network from London Luton Airport.

Dubrovnik overlooks the waters of the Adriatic, it’s famed for being a walled city with recent UNESCO world heritage status and offers easyJet customers flying from Luton a great summer holiday destination.

We expect Dubrovnik to be extremely popular for those who wish to get some easy and affordable summer sun and explore all it has to offer.
