The reception area is open plan, surrounded by shelves and hanging spaces allowing guests to relax and shop ahead of their treatment.

The spa also includes an indoor swimming pool making it an ideal space for guests to enjoy before or after a treatment.

Forest Bathing is considered to have a therapeutic effect on the body and mind, with studies indicating that it can lower blood pressure and heart rate, alleviate stress and provide a great boost for the immune system.

The resorts 57 guest rooms and suites are created with eco-friendly materials blending nature, Portuguese tradition and the elements of water, nature, space, stone and wood. Located in the heart of the resort, The Wine Library features a menu of tapas, cheese, smoked hams and local sausages paired with a wide selection of wine from the region.

Other features include an outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views of the Douro Valley, an activities hut and gym housing the latest exercise equipment as well as on-site personal trainers and aerial yoga.
